The Three Lenses

Every game on WagerAdvice is examined three different ways. Each lens runs on its own approach and its own strategy, and each can speak independently on the same matchup. Knowing who is talking is the key to reading our preview cards.

The Model

Quantitative engines our founder has been building for over a decade. The Model projects every game from the numbers: scores, win probabilities, and edges against the bookmaker's line.

The Playbook

Backtested segments that have been profitable in the past. A Playbook play qualifies on its proven historical pattern, not the day's model math, and is sized by its tier.

The Oracle

Our founder's years of experience, knowledge and intuition. The Oracle acts live: vetoing plays, dropping Pro Tips, and hand-selecting VIP Bonus Plays.

When the lenses disagree

Disagreement is a feature, not an error. A Playbook play can qualify on its backtested pattern even when the Model's day-of math dislikes the price; that is why you may see a sized play beside a Kelly figure of 0.000. The card tells you which lens made the call, and the "Why this side" expander shows the other lens's view.

The Oracle outranks both: a ๐Ÿ”ฎ veto stands a play down no matter what the Model or Playbook says, and every veto is graded publicly on the track record, right or wrong.
